Finding a Faucet
There are a number of important key factors to keep in mind when selecting a faucet for any project. Consider first the mounting style; wall or deck. Wall mounted faucets have recently become very popular. They offer a fresh, new option for kitchen or bath rooms. A standard deck mount faucet is just as functional and typically less expensive.
One should also consider controls. Single, double, centerset widespread or single hole mounting. This is an extremely important detail when selecting your sink companion. The sink market today is flooded with options; from integrated to vessel sink, drop-in to undermount.
Once you have both your faucet and sink selections made, it's always a good idea to let your plumber, or fixture showroom confirm your selections will function together, as well as order all of the necessary components.
Last but not least is the finish. This should coordinate (but doesn't have to match) bath or cabinet hardware and or possibly light fixtures.
