Handsome Hardware

Hardware is used in a number of different applications in a home, from the kitchen cabinets, doors, to custom casegoods, all of these items require specific hardware.  It can either contribute to a piece of furniture or cabinetry, acting as an accent or accessory, or can blend within a space.  Properly composed hardware in a project, has the potential to be one of the most striking accents throughout a home.
There are a number of different manufactures and custom craftsmen who offer unique options to an often typical or standard option.  Below are photos of some of our favorite applications as well as a few pictures of hardware found on our trip to Italy!

Inviting Dining

Dining rooms have been a central entertaining space in private homes for centuries.  The room lends itself for the entertainment of both family and friends, new and old.  Whether it seats 4 or 14 people, it is important for a dining room to be both inviting and comfortable.  No matter how good the cuisine, or perfect a table scape, if your guests do not feel comfortable, your meal is sure to be less than you had hoped.
With the use of rich colors and textures-which can increase your guests appetite, comfortable and luxurious custom furniture and unique handcrafted lighting, Design Associates is able to create a space for the ultimate in-home dining experience.  We make certain our clients dining room meets their entertaining needs and inspires them to host fabulous parties and gatherings in their own custom spaces!

A dining room can usually handle more color and pattern than any other room in the house.  You're only in it for small periods of time.  Why not make it memorable?
